Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows how much time it takes for USF to get back to your transfer application? I know there isn't an exact time, but estimates will be great too.

It can be just a few weeks, or it can be several months for decision. Keep in mind that USF does thousands of transfer applications every year, so they’ve got it down and they know what they are doing. They look for a way to admit you, not a way to deny you, so be patient. Keep monitoring your application status on Oasis to check if they ask for anything from you and to make sure everything is on track. Don’t hesitate to contact them either if you have any questions about the status of your application. Good Luck!

Lizard is right, if you have not heard anything from them or you online status has not changed in a while ( say, two months like mine), contact them right away! Break a leg!

I’m hijacking this thread w/ some questions:
I applied in January and mine says final transcript not received…obviously since this semester hasn’t ended yet. Do they wait for the final transcript before they choose to accept/reject you? Or can they make a decision before they receive the final trancript. I’m getting to the point where I want to withdraw my application, since I already am accepted at FSU and am leaning towards FSU over USF anyway.

^ It hasn’t been two months yet, and USF can make a decision before receiving your final transcript. Give admissions a call and ask for a decision time frame: 813-974-3350.

Hey lizard, what does 2 months have to do with anything if I may ask?

There’s nothing really significant about two months. I was just pointing out to papertiger that his application had only been in USF’s admission system a relatively short period.

Did you hear anything from USF or did you maybe get a chance to check in with them about decision timeframe?
