I have been in a total of 4 schools.
I receive my AS in January and I went to a 4 year public college and I can not afford the out of state tutition and fees.

So now I applied to in state schools,Rutgers, Kean and Monticlair. I am a Theater major btw. I send out all my transcripts except for the last college. This past Spring Semester I have gotten a Bs in all of my classes and failed an elective which resulted to a 1.9. My school said they would put me on academic probation for the fall. But I am taking summer classes to boost it up.

My question is should I send the last transcript now and get an official transcript and/or unoffical transcript or wait until I am done with my summer classes which is July 14 to send it?

You should send all of your transcripts for completed coursework by the admissions deadline. Only courses in progress are sent later. Colleges is this service to check on where students have attended:

I had a similar dilemma concerning when to apply/submit transcripts for Fall 2011 transfer admissions. I decided to wait until I had my springs grades (retook a class I failed in the Fall) to send the transcript in order to boost my GPA. July 14th is perfectly fine if you’re applying for Spring 2012 and I personally would wait until your GPA is corrected. If you’re applying for the Fall, however, July is pretty late. I assume there isn’t a deadline for transfer admissions at those schools?

I would send in the transcript but it would not state there are coirses in progress for the summer.

I talk to a rep in Rutgers and she told me July 15 is the deadline for transcripts. For RU, there are on on space basis after Feb 15. I went on the RU forum here and someone stated that they talk to the admussuons rep and it is least likely that SAS would fill up.

Monticlair had their apply deadline June 15, I applied June 14. Then they extend the deadline July 1st. Kean is on rolling admissions.

Case in point, it depends where you applied.

BTW, in the other schools I have attended I average out to a 3.0 and even if I get B in summer courses and I know the fail elzcrive wont transfer, I would still average out a 3.0. It is just this particular school that puts me around a 2.8.

My advice is to apply for spring 2012 IF your number one pick is rutgers. You can probably get into kean and montclair for fall '11 with or without your summer grades.
