Transfer Admissions

On WashU's site, it says that it takes "0 to a handful" of students each year. Does anyone have an exact number?

I took Missouri up on its A+ scholarship offer even though I did really well in high school. I've been in community college for the last year, but attending WashU has always been my goal. I'm going to be absolutely devastated if I don't get in next year, but I don't want to delude myself if I honestly have no chance.

Any other information about transfer admissions would also be appreciated. I'm very in the dark right now because I'm a first generation college student, and the advisors at my college aren't very helpful either.

I’d say less than 50 are accepted as a guesstimate.

Thanks. I actually just found out that Cornell accepts transfers in the Spring, and they also accept 100-500 students per semester as transfers. WashU is still my dream school, but if I get accepted to Cornell, I think it would be stupid not to accept it.
