transfer admissions

hi i am a senior in high school. I was wondering how tough is it to get into ucb ucla and ucsd for transfer students. My cousin is planning to biomedical engineering, and he is going to apply this fall. Do you know the average gpa’s? What gpa u have to get around to get into those schools.

Have you looked at the websites for these institutions? The answer is usually on there.

Hey nsharma,
I'm a community college student and I have been accepted as a transfer to botyh UCB and UCLA. My stats are:
4.0 gpa
honors program graduate
President, Phi Theta Kappa
I know others who got into Berkeley with lesser gpa's (3.7-3.9), but it depends on the major. We are all polisci students. The important thing (outside of your personal statements) is community involvement. You NEED to be involved in some clubs and show that school is your number one priority! A lot of freshmen applicants who get rejected to the UCs don't realize the great opportunity that community colleges offer in terms of transferring.

most uc schools have guaranteed admission contracts with the CA community colleges. look up "transfer admission agreement uc" in your favorite search engine.
