Transfer Admissions!

wel, my HS stats was pretty good 97 GPA 1450 SAT I, 750, 740, 750 SAT IIs. So if I crack like a 3.7 GPA at Cornell for a semester, do you think Penn will take me??

if you're applying to start jr year, I am pretty sure it's a general rule that HS stats mean less (if anything at all).

applying to start for sophmore year!

I'd say you have an excellent shot, make sure you continue to do a couple ECs as well.

is a 3.7 at Cornell even possible?????? It seems soooo hard.

also, i thought wharton don't take external transfers. Maybe 1 or 2 at most

na, I want to transfer to the College.

Wharton does take external transfers... there have been three accepted on CC alone.

Eddie, when u applied as a transfer student, do these schools you get accepted to see your second semester freshman grades or just the first semester??

They did not see my final grades for the second semester. Cornell and Penn required Mid-Term reports, but Stanford and Dartmouth did not.

-Eddie-

so what did the Mid-Term reports include? like midterm type of grades or wat or professor prediction grades??

The Mid-Term Reports included grades to date and the professor's signature.
