Transfer Admissions

I am a community college student and want to transfer as a junior. I am applying to Penn, UCLA, UVA, Michigan, and Duke and I want to know what are my chances of getting in?

My HS GPA was an unimpressive 3.3 but my SAT was 1900. Right now my college GPA is a 3.77. I volunteer at my temple as well as for the American Cancer Society and i regularly compete in marathons.

Should I aim lower or do I have a chance?

3.77 is a good GPA. Applying for transfer is similar to applying to college, you might want to add a safety school to your list. All the schools on your list are great school. To increase you chance of getting in, you might want to take the SAT again to break that 2000 line. It should increase your chance.

Are you a resident of either MI, VA or CA?

I live in CA

UCLA does not require SAT’s if you have more than 60 units.
