I have very good letters from my teachers, essays are my strong suit, as well as interviews. I was a section editor of the Newspaper, in Government Club, Two- Sport Varsity Captain in High School. I have over 120 volunteering hours and have done a lot of traveling and campaign work that has all continued into college. I’m taking Biology, Business Mathematics, American History, Government, and Intermediate Level Spanish 210.
I am doing a 3-credit, two-week winter break study abroad program as a freshman in my Major focus area (History/ Government and Politics) in Eastern Europe. I am only going to be taking two courses in the Spring (Continuing Biology, and Precalculus), and I am interning in a Congressman’s office on Capital Hill three days a week.
I will attempt to transfer for the Fall of 2011.
I am definitely applying to Georgetown University (the College), with a letter from a board member, and UVA. I am thinking about adding some more schools with good History and Government/International Politics programs. Possibly William and Mary, Hopkins, George Washington, Yale, Tufts.
Please, if you can, provide chances for any and all of those and advice!</p>
