Hey guys, I’m an incoming freshman at a college in Virginia and I’m already planning on transferring later on, maybe my first year or after sophomore year. My grades in high school weren’t great (gpa = 3.5) w/ almost no AP/IB classes. As a high school student it was important to take challenging classes, and colleges looked at that.
So my question is if I transfer, to your knowledge, how much do colleges look at difficulty of courses taken?
Or are they primarily concerned with a good GPA?
And also, if they do look at class difficulty, does an intro class look unimpressive to them? Thanks!
