truely not meaning to overload the boards but my previous situation has changed a bit...
I'm currently a freshman at Brandeis and I'm thinking about transfering...Although I enjoy my current classes and the philosophy of the school, I have a major academic problem. At the moment I want to study International Relations and Photography in hopes of going into photojournalism. Brandeis did offer photography courses but no longer has any photography faculty. I have access to the darkroom through involvement with the photography club but I'm not getting anywhere with that. I want to really be educated on the subject.

Same job for over 2 years

Last year, applying for freshman year I loved WashU, Brown, and Tufts all of which are fairly strong in both of my intended concentrations-
WashU- waitlisted for fall '07- offers spring transfers and has a great fine arts (absolutely amazing facilities!!) as well as a great art/sci college
my one hesitation is my love of the east coast...
Tufts- rejected fall '07 - only offers fall '08
Brown- rejected fall '07- fall '08
Penn- haven't previously applied- fall '08
Yale- haven't previously applied- fall '08

Do I have a legit chance at the east coast schools? should I risk it and wait to apply for fall '08 or go ahead with WashU?
any advice is GREATLY appriciated-
