Transfer Advice to Yale

<p>i will really appreciate if someone will help me with any advice on how i will get closer to getting an admission at yale next fall. right now i am in the process of filling up all the paper work as transfer students are required to do it manually.</p>

<p>I worked hard this semester for a 4.0 GPA but due to some issues in my life i didn't manage to take one of my finals in one of my class, so i ended up getting a 3.46 GPA. apart from that i have a very good record in my high school back in kenya and also whole bunch of extracurriculars. am also very active in college and i hope to put that in my applications. i know any advice from you guys will help me a lot.</p>

<p>Transfer admission tor Y is very difficult, only 20+ students were accepted last year (about a 3% acceptance rate). I have to be honest with you that it will be very difficult to be admitted with a 3.5 gpa in college, particularly for an International student.</p>
