<p>hi i am currently at one of the top rated if not the top community college in california, looking to transfer to a major university for journalism however i have not been able to find many schools other then usc, nyu to transfer to and am scared that they will reject me and i will end up nowhere. My current gpa is 3.55 and i have taken 55 quarter units so far. i am also in a special position due to a program i was in called middle college which during my senior year in high school allowed me to do my freshmen year in college simultaneously. my average courseload is about 14+ units per quarter. I am in my second year at my community college and after the next two quarters I am hoping to be at a 3.75 area. My high school stats are pretty bad ...i graduated with a 2.9 gpa and 1180 SAT. What are my chances at NYU/USC?and what other schools should i look at?</p>
