HELP!! do they require for the completion of the 60 units first!! ...i highly doubt it , but making sure!!

are you currently in a CA community college? I believe for UCLA and CAL they want you to complete the 60 units BEFORE you transfer…Most people transfer in 2 years, and if they were to complete 60 units by the time they fill out applications, that would be 20 units per semester…

You NEED to complete 60 units by fall 2010 to transfer to UCs…
(somebody correct me if im wrong on anything)

Not sure if the UC apps are different, but almost every one I’ve filled out for transfer has a spot to indicate the classes that are currently in progress as well as what you’ve already completed. If there is a deficiency at the time of the application, the school will request the transcript at the end of the current semester to review your progress and confirm admission. So long story short, you (likely) don’t have to have all 60 completed when you apply, but the remaining need to be in progress and confirmed as completed before you are admitted for transfer.

I’m sure someone one the UC transfer specific forum would have more on this, just to help clarify the process for you.

thanks everyone…i thought you had some extra time to finish after you submit app…if not you’d have to sit out 2 semesters of schooling waiting to start? doesnt sound right…
