transfer appeal letter

hi I was rejected admission from Michigan state University for Fall of 2017 because I had a 2.74 GPA and wasn’t completing the right required courses like WRA and Math. I asked the advisor if I could reapply after my second semester of college for fall 2017 and he said to appeal my decision. I appealed and wrote a letter talking about how much I want to go there and how I took all the required courses my second semester and how I got a 3.36 my second semester raising my GPA to 3.08.
This was my appeal letter:
To Whom It May Concern,
Thank you for reconsidering my application. Despite my initial rejection to Michigan State University, I still believe I would be a great asset to the University due to my ability to diversify and enrich the community. Since uprooting my life to the United States from Iraq, Michigan State University has always been my dream school. Throughout my academic career, I had every intension to make that dream a reality by building my life around my education, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Being a Spartan embodies the qualities of a highly educated, involved, and innovative individual; the qualities I pride my life on. I strive to live my life by these standards, and that is why it means so much to me to be a Spartan. Reflecting back on this semester, I choose to see this rejection as an opportunity to embrace my hard work ethic and personal drive, proving to myself that I can attend not only one of the most prestigious universities, but Michigan State University.
Seeing that I had that goal in mind, I was determined to succeed in regard to my school work. In order to thrive, I pushed myself to work harder by going from 15 credits my first semester to 17 credits my second. Through that increase, I earned a 3.36 my second semester making my GPA rise from 2.74 to 3.08. I was also able to take on more challenging courses that would transfer to MSU. One of the reasons I was rejected admission to MSU was because of my Math 150 course which transferred as GCU rather than course credit. My second semester I was able to take and succeed in Math 140, which transfers as Math 103 at Michigan State University. As for my English course, I had decided to take English 250 which was previously transferrable as a WRA course. During the middle of my second semester, in which I was taking these transferrable courses, I checked the Transfer Equivalency Guide and the transfer credits had changed and would no longer qualify as transfer credit. This was of great concern to me since I put all my efforts into following all admission requirements with hopes of being accepted into your institution. I have sent a copy of the syllabus for the course to be reconsidered as a credit. If admitted, I am willing to take an equivalent WRA class online or at a community college during the summer to fulfill the requirement. Like previously stated, Michigan State University is my dream school and I plan to overcome all possible hurdles that could hinder me from reaching my goal.
In my previous application, I had chosen the major of Education. After my first semester at Iowa State University, I had come to the conclusion that I excel and have a passion for designing and understanding the product of design. Therefore, I would like to change my major to Interior Design. Through the ISU first year design core program, I was able to learn how to abstract and construct sculptures and drawings. Attached are images and explanations for some of my design work from this past year. My intension is to grow in knowledge and advance my artistic and design skills with the help of Michigan State’s design program. I know, without a shadow of doubt, that I can take my skills with me and that MSU can shape me into the Interior Designer I aspire to be. Who will? Spartans will, and that is how I know that Michigan State is the only place for me. Again, thank you for reconsidering my application and allowing me to use this letter to emphasize just how much Michigan State University means to me.

Would I get in based on all the information I provided to them?

Yes, I think this gives you a good chance at reconsideration as this gives you a more personalized touch. A couple questions though, as I’ve given some tips to people before and just want to understand your situation a little better.
What were the grades in your required courses that you earned (College Algebra and Composition 2) ? Also, on what date were you rejected? Based on timeline there could be multiple reasons as to why you were rejected.

I am appealing as well and just waiting to hear back.I was rejected on the first of Feburary when I was still taking classes at my current institution.

I was rejected on march 10,2017! And my grades for the math and composition were B+
