Ok, I applied to UMD as a transfer applicant a little late because I didnt realize I wanted to leave my current school until recently. I had my entire application and essays and fees in on April 5th and I'm wondering if, because of the rolling admissions, there is any chance I will be admitted. I know it says that I should have applied by March 1st for priority, so I'm just curious whether anyone has applied late like me or if you have any insight. And also, do transfers have any chance of getting housing?

my advice to you is to call the admissions office and ask them directly instead of hearing from people that "think" they know the answer.. i went that route and made alot of mistakes, if you have any questions, call the dean of admissions and be persistent.. saves you alot of time and headaches later on.

I'm applying regular like you. Regular transfer admission is due June 1st, and I'll be turning mine in around mid-May.

There doesnt seem to be much of a problem with that. I didn't do as well as I had hoped 1st semester and I didn't want to send my high school grades. So I called them and asked if its alright that I send my application by March 1st but send my grades at the end of the spring semester in May. The admissions people said that was alright and its not an uncommon thing. So, you should be alright.
