it was so nice having you through this grueling process. I know we will all have great experiences next year wherever we end up! You guys were seriously all so cool. Even though I didn’t get into Barnard, I loved seeing how positive and uplifting the type of girls who are attracted to the school were! Yeah honestly I’ve been reading the comments over the last few weeks (checking daily).
This is my first post but I was rejected as well.
Congratulations to the admitted transfers. The campus is beautiful and you’ll all likely have great experiences .
@deepcountrygirl I completely agree with you! People on this thread are absolutely wonderful and really highlight the powerful and uplifting women that Barnard attracts.
I’m sorry to everyone who didn’t get in, but I know that you’ll all have the confidence to go forward and make the most out of wherever you end up next year. To those who were accepted, congratulations! I hope to see you next year.
As I said before, I was waitlisted, which is disappointing, as I feel like my college admissions process has been going on since the fall of 2014! However, I am choosing to look at this as an opportunity to continue to fight and demonstrate to the admissions counselors why I love Barnard and want to be there more than anything in this world.

@emilyatk I totally feel you. I was waitlisted at Columbia a week ago, so now that finals are done, this week I’m going to be 100% focused on trying to write the perfect personal statement. So now onto another month or more of praying. I really hope you get in off the waitlist!!
