with respect to chances, would it be a wise decision to wait until my spring semester has ended and my gpa has risen from a 3.2 to a ~3.4 before I apply? I would also not have to send in my crappy act score of a 24. however, I'm afraid that by waiting til May 10th-ish I actually might lower my chances of being accepted? I have no idea what to do.

any advice? thank you so much in advance. :)

A lot of it has to do with dorm space. If you have above a 3.0 at your present college and you have taken a full course load and you have taken reasonably difficult courses, then your chances will be pretty good, it seems to me. If you want to transfer for this coming fall, then abide by the transfer application deadline as appropriate and let the chips fall where they may. And send in your grades as soon as practical.

The application date starts tomorrow April 1st and ends in June…but I still can’t decide if I should do it now…

On one hand you’re right endlessrecession, there might not be enough space if I wait till May 10th to send in my application. But I still worry that my stats as they are might be way too low. Even though I have taken reasonably difficult courses in college, I still can’t shake this worry. i guess that’s normal though xD, especially when you’re applying to your dream school.

I’m in the same boat as you, I currently have a 3.32 gpa at my CC and waiting until I finish the spring semester in which I’m studying my butt off to get a 3.4+, along with taking a summer class. I’m also hoping to land an internship or do something worthwhile to put on my resume in the summer. All this means that I would’ve missed the deadline for fall semester, so I’ll be applying for Spring semester, oh well, I’ll take summer classes to make up for lost time.

Which campus/school do you plan to goto Alchemist0013? I’m going for CBA in Bronx.

I’m applying to Rose hill (hoping maybe this year they’ll have dorm space for transfers).

I think I’m going to apply this weekend. If I don’t get in, I’ll reapply for spring or next next fall if I can’t do that. Still I’m so nervous >_<

Oh well, wish me luck!!!

(Also, good luck to anyone that’s still applying/is planning too )
