Hi everyone,

I applied to UMD last year but was denied. I am now trying to re-apply, but do not know if I should create a new application or use the old one with all of the information from highschool still in it. Can someone explain please ?

You need to create a new account and provide the same info all over again… you can use the same email if you want… but if you are re-applying you need a new application which requires a new account/pin.

Thanks, will I have to send tes scores all over again?

Hey DebbyOkay, I’m not sure. Are you applying as a freshman or sophomore in college?..

For example… I have attended community college for 2 years. I have 60+ credits from my current cc, so when I applied I did not send any high school SAT/ACT scores. It was not required of me. I just sent my CC transcripts.

You should probably talk to your advisor or call. I think it all depends on how far along you are in your current studies.

If you got denied your old application is invalid and you’ll need to apply again (and pay the fee again). Same thing happened to me last year:)
