Hi everybody im a transfer applicant and was just wondering about the different types of interview. Are the on campus ones with an adcom directly? Are those weighed much more heavily than alumni interviews? I live in Cincinnati and am trying to decide whether to drive up over break - iv already seen campus and all since a friend goes there.

Are there interviews for transfers? I would like to interview...as well.

I would speculate that the ones on campus would be better considering the interviewers work for admissions but I don't think this is explicitly stated. ANY interview is going to give them a better picture of who you are but as they state on the site they don't ding you for not setting up an interview.

Sachmoney, there's a number on the website that you can dial and set up an interview, it's really simple I got one for early March.

Thanks Stone.

are they def with adcoms?

Unless things have changed in the past 3 years since I transferred in (and they very well might have), UChicago doesn't give interviews to transfer applicants.
