UF wants to know the about of credits one has. Would I include only the current amount of credits or the amount of credits I would expect to have. In addition would I include my AP credits in this count or just credits received from my university.

I called UF and got conflicting information from 2 different admissions officers. One said to include all credits including perspective credits and another said not to include perspective credits. Any advice? Is there an admissions supervisor?

I’m pretty sure that when I applied I just put how many I had completed, including AP credits. Since you list the courses you’re currently taking and send a transcript, UF can see how many credits you have in progress and how many you’d have completed by the time you started there, so I think they just want you to put how many you have completed at the time of application, including AP credits if you were awarded college credit for them at your current school.

When I applied there was a section to include classes that are currently in progress as well as those which have already been completed through credit courses, AP/IB etc. It will specifically note that you must have the mentioned classes completed by the time classes begin on your first semester. Good luck!

julius - I don’t think you mean perspective credits. I think you mean prospective credits.

Yes, I did mean prospective, not perspective. Thank you for correcting me.
