Transfer Application - Recommendation Question

I submitted my application already without listing my recommendations, i thought it was fine to do that if you were sending them offline. I see now that you were suppose to list them either way. Did i screw up or is it fine -- just send it through letter mail and it wont make any difference? My other question is what recommendations are required for transfer students? Is it still 1 teacher and 1 counselor like other applicants? I'm asking because I've never even spoken to a counselor at my school.

Anyone who knows anything or has sent a transfer application to UMD before, please help!

You should call and ask an admissions person your questions. I don’t think a counselor is necessarily applicable for transfer applications, as they are mostly focused on what you’ve done post high school, but you need someone official to give you your answers. (If you’d come back and tell us what they told you, that might be helpful for someone else in the future…)

Good luck!

I was also a transfer applicant, I was admitted with two professor recs instead of a counselor rec.
