Hi,
Congrats everyone for your acceptances! I am a transfer student who just applied. I go to a moderately selective (54%) four-year university and am a sophomore with a 3.85 college GPA. I didn’t do well in high school compared to many freshman applicants. Additionally, I have a decent amount of work experience related to my major (2 different fellowships and an internship). They did not ask for my SAT scores etc. because if accepted, I will be a junior.
What do you think my chances are?
Thank you for any comments you may have!
Goodluck everyone.
Since I hadn’t taken a math course yet, they told me once I finished it to send in my transcript from this semester! Fingers crossed. My GPA will most likely be a 3.7 so I am hopeful.
@pittsburgh29999 - Are you transfering for this spring 2018?
I am pretty much in the same exact situation as you-- Didn’t do too well in high school, am currently attending a somewhat selective 4 year college, applied to pitt for Fall 2018 and was told that I need to submit my 2017 Fall grades. Let me know when you hear back! I just sent my final grades a few days ago and currently have a 3.8 gpa on my transcript.
That’s so funny! I just did the exact same thing. I have a 3.8 too, so good luck! I will keep you updated
