I want to transfer to UC to study engineering but I can't find a good community college that offers an engineering program. Does anyone know a good community college in Los Angeles?

Go to assist.org look up all the community colleges in your area and find one that lists the most transferable major pre-reqs for the school you want to transfer to. Then you should probably double check in their schedule of classes to make sure they’re still being offered. Also if you want a sense of the quality of instruction at a particularly CC, you should probably use a resource like ratemyprofessors.com to see what students have to say about the faculty at a particular college. Most of the CCs in the LA county area are going to offer a decent amount of classes that will transfer over for your prerequisites. What’s going to be important for you if the class offerings are similar is just going to be how well you do in those courses. Unless a college doesn’t offer a lot of the pre-reqs for a major, it shouldn’t really matter which community college you go to as long as you perform well.

^^ yup. what they said.

Ones that stand out that I know offer a lot of courses
Pasadena
Santa Monica
El Camino
Pierce

But I am sure a lot of LA schools offer a lot of engineering classes. The trick is to pick one that offers the MOST and can get you credit out of Berkeley or UCLA
