transfer assesment, si te puedes

ok, yes, deadline was over a month ago, and yes, i'll be getting my decision online a week from today (eek) but wellesley was a last minute addition i'm really glad i found, and so i never really got a feel for how likely i would be to get in.

current school: University of Vermont, second semester freshman
GPA: 3.73
courseload: five courses first semester, two intermediate level, three intro, five courses this semester, two intermediate, one senior seminar, two intro
SATS: 2100 (740 cr, 730 writing and 630 math) 780 writing SAT 2, 720 lit and ugh, 620, US History, somehow
major: poli sci
ECs: Intern for Sen. Leahy twelve hours a week (only freshman or sophmore ever to intern, woot woot) co-president of college democrats, member of my school's STAND chapter. Did research for history prof at WUSTL over the summer, hostessed 20 hours/week, interned at the ACLU, taught theatre.
essays: major strength, i wrote my first one in third person about watching my grandmother paint it her brownstone while it rained outside and i devoured the wellesley 80 page packet they sent me to be able to write a specific 'why wellesley' essay.
recs: i've read one, my prof called me one of the smartest people he's met in his 40 years of teaching at UVM and UPenn, my other two, one of the profs taught at wellesley and he said i was intellectually in the top one percent of ppl he'd taught, and the other prof said i was 'wonderfully engaged'
high school: this is what i think might keep me out, 3.34 GPA from a top private prep school in St. Louis with an upward trend culminating in a 4.0 second semester senior year. i wrote an explanation, but i feel as though they might just think that one semester isn't enough time for me to prove myself.
i also think the fact that i didn't take math senior year might keep me out, i took two history classes instead. all in all, i'm really nervous about finding out online, i'm going to be so disappointed if i don't get in, especially because i feel like wellesley is such a good match for me. i also didn't feel like my interviewer really had time to be interviewing me, she interviewed me in her office and was taking notes and interrogating me as to why i was at UVM in the first place and hadn't applied to wellesley last year.

also, does anyone know if transfers just go to spring open house along with the freshman? UVM is two and half hours from boston and any excuse i can get to go... i do....

thanks for any replies, i'm just a nervous applicant who would rather fret over things like this than do constructive things like...term papers due soon...

bump? i mean, i know i get my decision in three days but i'm uber nervous...
