Right now I am going to an out-of-state university, and I sure am paying the price. My family and I have already agreed that I will transfer to a university very close to my home next school year. But I figured that since I know I am going to transfer, why not bump it up a little? If i stay for another semester I will have to pay for a meal plan I can barely use, required seminar classes that I know will not transfer, and train tickets home to see my boyfriend and family that I am very close to. Also, my student loan doesn't cover the price my school gave me, so my mom has to pay a few thousand dollars more! I called the university I wish to attend to see if I could transfer in between semesters and enroll this spring but they said it is not possible. So my question is, would it be a bad idea to go back home after this semester and enroll in community college?
