*Transfer Brown 2017*

@verdantspring May 12th is a Friday. Did you perhaps mean May 11th? Or the other way around: Friday, May 12th.

@verdantspring @RickMedeiros I also called today and they wouldn’t give a date…

Sorry, I meant May 11th. She called this morning, 5/8.

They told her because she was offered a spot at Tufts but Tufts needs to know if she’s coming by this Friday. So she needed to make sure that the Brown decision would come out this week because she prefers Brown but doesn’t want to give Tufts a deposit unless she’s sure that Brown is a no-go. Brown admissions said she’d hear on Thursday.

oyyy… best of luck to all of you. hoping for the best.

This is getting kind of ridiculous

They said the same thing last year when someone called – decisions would be announced later in the week – and then surprised everyone and released them on Tuesday. Who really knows?

Last year, they were released today at 11:00. Could be in >10 minutes.

Nothing…

Does anyone else now have the ability to click the “accept award offer” and “award overview” boxes under “financial aid” and the “accept loan offers?”

Mine now shows the estimated cost of attendance when I click on it, but doesn’t give me any info on my specific aid package or anything

I have it. doubt it means anything tho. Brown is hella expensive tho lol

@a2019d I can confirm I have this…

I think tabs have there awhile

info about spring admits has been put on portal! Decisions are upon us!

@gingko that’s been there the whole time lol

@a2019d @inordie @RickMedeiros I don’t think I have those links under the financial aid tab.

I need a ton of FA. I didn’t realize that transfer decisions are based on need before applying, or else I wouldn’t have applied. My stats are within their range and I have a cool story, but meh. I’ve been accepted to Cal, UCLA, USC, UMich, and waitlisted at Columbia so far.

My point is that this might be a good sign for you guys!

I don’t have the FA tab, but I didn’t apply for financial aid.

Same @ILR2020

@lexluther96 it was a little hidden for me. If you go Financial aid > Undergraduate > Accept Loan Offers > Select Year > You should see three more tabs added to you display. The ones mentioned above

@lexluther96 I need a TON of financial aid as well :(, I strongly believe this may be the reason why I don’t get in either cause my EFC was so low that’ I’m basically asking for a full ride…
