Firstly, I would like to transfer to NU after my freshmen year and enter in Fall of 2007. I am currently at the University of Michigan - Dearborn.

Stats:
High School:
ACT:32
GPA: 3.65
Courses: All IB...toughest courseload. IB Diploma Recieved

E.C.'s were pretty good, very personal, lots of humanitarian work combined with leadership.

College: Started early, took 6 credits in summer, taking 15 in fall right now, all classes were 3 credits though. So a total of 7 class.
Major: Econ - although I haven't actully taken any econ classes, but I will next semester.
GPA: After Fall 2006, 3.95 (I'm 99% sure)
E.C.'s - Working on Economics research with a professor who was a Princeton Ph.D, and joined Amnesty International
I also have a part time job, working about 15 hours a week.

I basically hate it here. Well not hate, but its not exactly stipulating. No one here is really into anything...its kind of a "going to college because I have to" type of school and also a commuter campus. I really want to get out.

I just want to know, when someone transfers, how difficult is it to get into the groove of things, since the majority of classmates will have already had a year of exposure? And obviously, what do you think my chance of getting in is?

And I know NU's Econ prog is top notch, and after doing my IB's I'm not afraid of hard work, but does it rock your GPA?
