<p>I had some questions about the first day at the transfer center:
1)What happens once everyone moves their stuff in?
2) Does everyone just walk around into eachother's rooms and introduce themselves and stuff?
3)What time do all the parents leave the transfer center by?
4) What is the orientation meeting like? </p>

<li><p>There's a hall meeting at around 6-7 pm, as I recall, so your RA can introduce themself and lay down the law...and have everyone go around the room saying where they're from.</p></li>

<li><p>That all depends, because some students end up arriving late. Some parents don't leave town until the next day (mine didn't--and we arrived late).</p></li>
<li><p>Basically you split into small OL groups, introduce yourselves, and play icebreakers...and I believe there was a bbq the first night, so you can accompany your OL to any events. Mine invited us to go out to a party after our OL meeting.</p></li>
