Transfer chance at Vandy. Will chance back

Hey yall, I currently go to a small selective liberal arts college that is extremely isolated, and I'm thinking about transferring next year.

HS Record:
Unweighted GPA: 3.6
Weighted GPA: 4.3-4.4
Top 10% in class

SAT: 1940..690 W/640 CR/610 M *Should I retake. I think I could definitely up my math and reading scores.

SAT II's- 660 Bio E 660 US History

I've taken the hardest schedule possible with 8 AP's.

Extracurricular's:
Captain of Swimming
VP of School.
President of Snowboard club.
*I have enough, but don't want to list all of them.

College:
Freshman at a small selective liberal arts college.
GPA: I have no idea, hopefully a 4.0. I'm really working hard.
On the crew team, environmental group, and participating in Relay for Life.

Please chance me, I will chance back.
Also last years transfer admissions cycle had a 50% admit rate, however I'm not sure where I stand within that 50%.

If you need someone to chance you, then you are in no way qualified and do not know enough to chance someone back.

There is nothing wrong with asking for an opinion. Just remember that is all it is, somebody elses opinion. Your HS test scores are low for Vandy. If you get close to a 4.0 that will go a long way in helping you get in. I’m sorry your unhappy enough with where you are to consider transfering. Vandy will be very different from a small LAC in a small town. Have you visited? You picked a great sport in rowing! are you starboard or port?

I’ll probably visit over winter break, and I prefer to row starboard, as that’s how I learned, but currently my coach has me rowing port; it’s a great sport and I love it! Does Vandy have a team?

Starboard rules! Though some of my best friends are port. Yes, Vandy has a club team. I’m not sure how good they are. Vanderbilt is really a great place. If you are there in the winter try to catch a basketball game if you have time, they are a lot of fun. If you feel you need to transfer, I would recommend looking at several schools. Best of Luck.

Don’t bother retaking the SAT if you are already in college. You will want to maintain as high a college GPA as possible & get to know your profs. You will have to submit recommendations from some of them.
