transfer chance? (engineering)

Hey everyone, first post here.

First, a bit about myself:

I'm a junior at an unassuming state school in the mid west, majoring in mechanical engineering and mathematics (with a CS minor). Current GPA is 3.826 (including this fall's grades), and I am on track to graduate in four years.

However, this spring I will be starting a year-long co op with ANSYS inc (pittsburgh location), so my graduation date will be invariably pushed back a year (meaning that I have 2 full years left after the co op is finished). Given this, and the fact that I'll be out of the mid-west, I am considering transferring to a "better" school/one which has more to offer an ME student with my interests (computational engineering).

I was hoping you guys/gals could give me some idea what sort of chance I have at being accepted to the mechanical engineering program as a transfer student.

Let me know if I should put more down in terms of my completed coursework. All of the other chance threads were high school students, so I'm not sure if I should follow that format or not . Sorry if I was supposed to =|

Sincerely,
some guy
