<p>Not to discourage you, most kids who transfer to MIT either win intel or are intel finalists.
I have similar stats (but with a lower GPA), and I have also won national distinction much like you have.</p>
<p>Anyway, regarding this statement: "The fact that ur GPA is a 4.0, I think your SAT has minimal meaning.", I sure hope it is true. However, I think, given that we are freshmen, that the admissions officers will put some weight on our SAT scores.</p>
<p>All and all, if what you say is true, I think you are already in CMU and Cornell.</p>
