I applied to transfer to Wake Forest Fall of 2012 this past winter. I recieved an email requesting my Spring transcript be sent when grades were posted. Grades were not posted until the 31st of May, and I will not find out my admissions decision until sometime this week or next. I was wanting some opinions on my chances to get in?

I went to a public high school and earned an OK GPA, 3.64. I took some AP classes but not very many.I participated in many extra-curricular activities such as: student council, national honor society, beta club, etc. I am the class of 2015 secretary. I placed 2nd in the nation for baton twirling...I volunteered at the food bank and an elementary school every week. I did not think I had a chance after high school to be accepted to Wake.

After high school I went on to a four year, private, liberal arts college. My current GPA after my first year is a 3.678. I am heavily involved with a political group on campus. I volunteer every week at a major research hospital in the area.

I am a minority student, and I am bilingual. I feel that I had a very strong transfer essay (specific reasons why I am trying to transfer) with great reccomendation letters from two of my college professors. I also know several legacies.

Any opinions would be AWESOME. I am very stressed out!
