Puerto Rican Male, English Major (want to double major in English and History)
1st college GPA: 3.65, 25 credits (decent liberal arts school)
2nd college GPA: 3.89, 47 credits (community college) should be 4.0 but I took a tough general chemistry class intended for science majors and got a B- 3 semesters ago.
HS GPA: 3.4, Class Rank: 36/278
SAT score: (10/2007) Reading- 600, Math- 580, Writing- 720 (9/12 essay)
SAT retake: (10/2010) Reading- 640 Math- 570, Writing- 740 (11/12 essay)
SAT II (01/2010): Chemistry- 470, Literature- 550, U.S. History- 610

I only mention the SAT retake and SAT II scores because Georgetown doesn't allow Score Choice and requires me to send them. I took them while in college and didn't take them seriously at all. Literally just walked in without studying and winged them.
The reason being that I felt really confident and didn't think I would have to send them anyway if I did poorly.

I also wrote a one page addendum explaining the financial situation which forced me to withdraw from my first school and enroll at my local community college.

If it means anything I have a 4.0 in all 8 of my English & History courses taken in college.

2 of my professors wrote me excellent recommendations and my high school counselor wrote a letter explaining the family problems I had to overcome in high school.
My extracurricular activities are OK... nothing out of this world.

Assuming the essays I've written are above average, would you chance me at the schools I applied to?
Just put a Y if you think I'll get admitted or an N if you think I'll get rejected.
