Transfer Chance Me?

Hello- I am currently a Sophomore at Pace University in New York City, and I really wish to transfer out of here. Pace is a great school, but its just not for me. I am currently a Business Undecided major, but most likely going to declare Finance (if I don't get to transfer). I really wish to continue with Business, Finance to be more precise. The schools I want to apply to my not be within my reach for Business, so I am open to different majors as well, as long as I get in. I will list the schools on the bottom of this message, but here is my resume:

Sophomore at Pace University in NYC
Race: Bengali (Bangladesh, Asia)
GPA: 2.85
Have done decent amount of community services
Director of Pace Finance Club (since Freshman year--present)
Pace Law Society (member, since Fall of 2009)
Moctrail Member
and few other extracurricular activity
I Have great recommendation from my professor and my counselor
Multiple job experience

Taken some great classes, some difficult classes as well, and few Business related classes.
Economics: Micro/Macro, Statistics and 2 other math Course, 2 Business Course, 2 Writing courses, and some more!

HS: My HS GPA wasn't that impressive, may be a 2.5, but have TONS of extracurricular activity ( I know that doesn't make it up for the GPA, but its a plus).

Schools:
SUNY Binghamton
Clemson
College of Charleston
Cornell College (Iowa)
University of Vermont
Belmont University
Southern Methodist University- SMU (do I have a chance of getting in???), University of Richmond,
Ithaca College (is it worth applying to Ithaca?)
Elon University
and Syracuse University (I really don't know about Syracuse, but what do you guys think?

If you guys have any suggestions that might be within my reach that would be even better.

Thank you, and chance me!!!

SMU and Binghamton would be really difficult, try to bring that GPA up

You need to put your GPA up. That seems a little bit below average for some of the schools that you listed. Bing is hard to get in with your status. And for the syracuse, I think you need to at least have 3.3 GPA, even Syracuse usually accept many B+ student, but for transferring, it will be harder than freshman admission. That is what I think about. Also, I am now a Syracuse Student. Good luck!

Thanks “Knight_HYM”, I wasn’t so sure on Syracuse either, but I read few threads on CC about people getting in to Cuse with less GPA then mine, if I apply to Cuse, it would be a less competitive program.
