I go to Cornell, have decent EC's, and a 3.8 GPA. Are these stats good enough to transfer to Harvard, or Wharton? Applying for junior status next fall.

thanks

thanks

your stats are good enough, like everyone else.
you just need to have an extremely good reason on why you want to transfer though.

i had higher than a 3.8 at a top 15 per us news, and got denied at Harvard to enter as a junior. My SATs were in the mid 14s. GOod luck

Probably will boil down to your essay/recs.. a lot of people are denied with your GPA.

ace - you say on another thread that you've just graduated high school are and wondering what your chances are for Cornell as sophomore transfer.

Yeah I was asking for my brother. He had a bad life and ended up at cc, and I'm proud of him now for wanting to go to cornell like me, and get an education. I wanted to see if he even had a chanceto make it in. I'll probably end up writing his essays and do his application.

sorry for the cofusion.

and why do you want to leave now?

You are gonna write his essays? If he can't get in himself he won't be able to survive it by himself. Help him out...edit essays...help him with random things, but don't hold his hand because noone will hold his hand at Cornell.

Gl with ur transfering and it's nice to c u motivating ur brother!
