major: aerospace engineering
gpa: 3.84
major-prep.: will be done except one physics by this fall.
ec: some church works.
essay: not satisfied..working on it.
i go to occ.

comments:
this is almost my 3rd year at OCC. i needed time to catchup with english as i was new to US. btw, i am a resident now.
i messed up my gpa by getting C in a intro to programming(4units) class, which i took at my first year. the class turned out to be uc transferable. Also, i have some F's and NC's from my ESL classes, but they are not uc transferable. for all the major prep. course, i got A's, but im really concerned about that computer class.

^Is your password really 123? lol

Aerospace engineering – Oooo, innovative!

From what I know and what is written, usually UCLA is huge on all prerequisites for competitive majors to be completed by Spring.

Is Aerospace engineering competitive at UCLA?

Will you be done with Physics by Spring?

If you can get your essay up to beyond satisfactory, then I’d say you have a great chance.

See this [Profile of Admitted Transfer Students by Major, Fall 2010 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/Tr_Prof10_mjr.htm#SEAS) which may also help you. Your GPA is right on the target. It may help to get all As this semester, which you seem capable of doing.

Best wishes,

Oliver_Twist, I’m going to be the first of last year’s College Confidential class to get to 1,000 posts.

I’m leading you by a decent chunk at this point :)
