Hi everyone, I've been lurking the threads for the past couple days trying to alleviate some of my anxiety about getting into USC. All-in-all, I haven't found anyone who has had a similar story to mine so I can gauge my chances. So here is my situation and any feedback would probably calm me down some :) lol

First off I'm the dreaded "out-of-state" transfer from the number 2 community college in the country (CSN). I applied to the College of Arts, Letters and Sciences for Psychology or Sociology.
I didn't care much for school when I was younger and performed only average in High School. I also never took the SAT/ACT out of fear. I'm afraid they're still going to want these test even though it says they don't require them. and I'm also nervous that my poor record in high school will haunt me.

High School Stats:
Weighted GPA: 3.02
Graduated with an Advanced Diploma due to community service work

I have a five year gap in education :/

College Stats:
Graduating May 2012 with Associate in Psychology
GPA: 3.95
Phi Theta Kappa member
President's List: 3 semesters
Dean's List: 2 semesters
Graduating with High Honors from the college
Also took 12 credits of Honors classes to get Honors recognition
For the most part been a full-time student
Have completed all required and recommended course work for USC
Recommendation from Honors professor
Entering at Junior status
Have a co-curricular transcript with volunteer hours on it

EC's:
First and foremost I'm a mother of a very active 3 year old
Volunteer with Phi Theta Kappa sponsored events
Volunteer at a horse rescue
Work part-time jobs on and off (forgot to put on application)

All together I feel like I have turned my life around and I'm on the right track. USC is my dream school and I've wanted to go there for the past two years. Again ANY feedback would be appreciated :)
