Transfer chance? - Virginia

<p>Hello, I currently attend Northern Virginia Community College, and my time is approaching for transfer. I would like to know if I have any chance of getting admitted to the schools I want to transfer to.</p>

<p>Credits of classes: about 60
College GPA : 3.84
SAT : (took one in high school - can always take one again) 1750-ish
Extracurricular : has been and is working</p>

<p>Schools I wish to apply: UVA*, Columbia, GMU, JMU, and William and Mary</p>

<p>*I have taken courses that are required for the guarantee admission. </p>

<p>Please, no harsh words... I know some of the schools listed above may be out of my reach based on my academic status.</p>

<p>I went to NVCC for a year…dont they have the agreement w/UVA that guarantees admission? I think G-town does also but it gets you a ‘General Studies’ degree…but hey still g-town name. Columbia I think will be crazy hard but why not…if you can get into Barnard your degree will read something like Barnard College of Columbia University and so reads pretty similar if you wanna get something w/the Columbia name.</p>
