Transfer chance would be great to ease my mind.

I'm a first year transfer student currently at the University of Akron.

I've applied to Miami University (Ohio), Ohio State and Florida Gulf Coast University (Random, I know).

With my stats I'm just wondering my chances at getting into the universities mentioned above.

High School GPA - 2.7
ACT-29
First Semester GPA - 3.3

I had a decent amount of extra curriculars, which included some awards and a lot of club involvement. I also felt my transfer essay and personal statements were pretty strong and unique.

With that being said, what are my chances? I noticed that Miami University (Ohio) mentioned that most transfer students with a 2.75 were granted admission, but is that High-school or college GPA? I'm hoping the upward trend my stats have taken helps.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

I personally think your in at all three, however, I’m not familiar with each schools admissions standards. As far as the the average admittee gpa on Miami’s website, it refers to the college gpa.

Thanks for the reply! I was thinking the GPA on the website was referring to the college GPA as well.
