I am worried about my college GPA. Do you guys think should I transfer UNC as a sophomore or junior? What would be the best chance to get in? (If I transfer as a junior, then I think I can improve my college GPA until first semester of sophomore year.)

You go to Emory. so I don't think it would be as big a problem. They usually don't get many people transferring from higher-ranked schools to lower ones.

And since you don't have that many credits, I think they still look at your HS info.

I'd say go ahead and apply this year. Even if you don't get in, you can still reapply the next year. But I think you have a good shot.

Transferring in to UNC is much easier than applying as a freshman. My cousin did it from MA going into his sophomore year. Remember they do have some freshman dropout spots they want to fill. You will be fine with your stats. If it's really what you want to do then do it sooner than later you won't regret it.

Becuase Emory doesn't have dental school and expensive tuition...(undergraduate: about $ 200,000/4yr + graduate: about $ 400,000/4yr)
International student has no chance to get financial aid!
