<p>Realistically, I'm about as far from traditional as you can get. Having said that, do your worst (or best):</p>
<p>Essentially, I'm targeting one school, a LAC in the 25-50 range. I have several fall-backs, additionally I will likely send my application to several other LAC's in the 25-100 range.</p>
<p>Current School: Generic community college
Current GPA: 3.6, with an upward trend after a couple of years out of school altogether and an aggressive course load. About 28 credits to date, 46 by the time I transfer.
High school: Dropped out, GED
ACT: 29. I don't know the exact breakdown off hand, but the scores ranged from 26-33, with math and science being on the high end.
ECs: I sit on a comittee related to my desired major, studio apprentice at an art studio, campaign work in my old state, worked for a local 501(c), and some work for other nonprofits in the area.
Essay: I'll spare you my life story and just say that I hope it's compelling.
Recs: One solid rec from an honored alum, I've got a couple of solid recs from prof's lined up, and I have a couple of more offers for letters if I want them.</p>
<p>So, do I stand a chance?</p>
