<p>Hey everyone,
I'm currently in my second year at a Community College in Virginia and am looking at transferring to Virginia Tech next year.</p>
<p>I currently have a 3.1 GPA and I expect my GPA to increase this semester.
I plan on majoring in English so that I can teach.
Is my GPA high enough? I know the website says a minimum of 2.5 to be looked at, and competitive transfers have a 3.0. But yeah..
I'm just kind of worried that I won't be able to get in anywhere. </p>
<p>I'm not sure what my GPA was in high school but it was at least a 3.0 (not sure how necessary that is). I can also say what I got for my SAT and ACT, too if they look at that.</p>
