I'm planning on applying to syracuse for fall '10. What would be my chances of getting into the business school? I'm going to have 57 credits for sure by the time i apply, and 69 by the time im actually done with the spring semester and i'm currently a sophomore in CUNY Baruch btw. I'm most likely going to have at least a 3.0 gpa by the time i apply. in case this helps ive had an extreme and i mean EXTREME upward trend. my first semester of college-fall '08 after 16 credits i had a 2.18 gpa (D in calculus really killed me along with a couple of history classes), then in spring '09 i really bounced back with a 3.1 gpa and another 16 credits. took a summer bio class didnt do so well on it-C. and as of this semester im really trying for a 3.85, if im lucky a 4.0 gpa but all i know is that my GPA is definitely going to be above a 3.6 this semester, and then 2 winter classes on top of that.

anyone please im really curious

come on guys not even one comment im beggin ya here this school is apart of my top 3 list

not even one person out there who wants to chance me?

haha i’m sorry i really have no idea about what they like to see in transfer students and yeah the SU forum is kinda dead i made a thread yesterday and still no replies

guess who transferred from CUNY BARUCH last year to Syracuse’s Whitman School of Management? (Yours Truly ) I did so with a 3.54 GPA. I am a sophomore now.

davidb i thought u went to buffalo dude. anyways finally someone answered this post so thanks for that. you knwo around what gpa i would need to get into the SU business school

To be honest you will need around at least a 3.3 GPA. Id say 3.5+ is your best bet.
