Howdy! I’m a student at McLennan Community College in Waco and I’m wanting to transfer to Mays Business school at Texas A&M. I went to Baylor university first and I left with a 3.4 GPA and I have 4.0 GPA At McLennan Community College. By the time I transfer I will have 60 hours completed. My cumulative Gpa is 3.375 and my institutional GPA is 4.0. What are my chances of being accepted into A&M?
It’s always difficult when you’re applying from the outside because most are chosen as freshmen. It’s great to apply, but don’t hold your breath. Keep a list of affordable backup schools handy.
@stephen254 they only accept 100 transfer students per year. It’s highly Competitive. There’s a thread on here from fall 2019 transfers. They list their stats. Go check and compare. Obviously it’s a small sampling, but it’ll give you an idea. Good luck!
