Transfer chances at USC?

I posted this up on the "What are my chances forum," but no one responded, so hopefully I'll get some help here. I am going to be a sophomore at Hofstra University (pretty low-ranked academic school in Long Island), and am looking to transfer to USC for Fall 2008. My major is currently electrical engineering and I am looking to keep it that way if admitted into USC.

Here are some of my stats:
SAT's: 1390 (760 M, 630 CR) and a 630 on writing so total 2020
SAT II- Math 1c: 800
Chemistry: 640
Biology: 690
Unweighted GPA: About 93
Weighted GPA: Over 95
I took a rigorous schedule, also I held a couple of leadership positions with my school SGA and Key Club.

College GPA thus far: 3.68, Major: Electrical engineering
I am a Senator in SGA and Freshman Orientation Leader.

Assuming I work even harder next year and bring my GPA to 3.75 and above, what are my chances? BTW I have NO legacy at all.

Also, through collegeboard.com, I calculated my EFC to be circa $13,000. So with that information and my grades, what type of financial aid package do you think I can expect from each of these schools. Also if anyone has any other suggestions for schools to look into, please let me know.

Thanks

I'm sorry I'm not familiar enough with transfer chances to give my opinion- but a few points I do know:
-Your high school records will not be given much consideration if you have completed 30 college units.
-Legacy is a VERY minor factor in admissions, if any- don't worry about that.

I'm sure you've done this but go through the transfer info on the Viterby (Engineering school) website.

Good Luck!
