Transfer chances, business administration

I am attending a California community college and am considering transferring to Cal Poly for business next fall. I have completed 27 semester units and am enrolled in 14 this semester. I have a 4.00 GPA and have completed most of IGETC. My extra-curriculars are not remarkable, they are: 1.5 years of part time work experience (not related to major) and I am a member of the PTK honor society.

Potential problems: In order to finish all transfer requirements by next spring, I would need to take 19 units next semester, including calculus, bus law, fin accounting 2 and managerial accounting. I am worried that I will be rejected because I am saving all of these essential pre-reqs until my final spring semester.
Furthermore, I will be unable to complete the csu graduation req in poly sci and us history by spring. From my understanding, the completion of these classes is not required before transfer, although my counselor told me that Cal Poly prefers that transfer students complete these classes before transferring.

Do I stand a reasonable chance of being admitted for next year or should I spread these courses out over a third year and transfer in fall 2014?
Thanks for any help.

Just make sure to have all the required “bolded” classes taken. If you miss some desired courses, but have a great GPA it balances it out.

You have a reasonable chance. Sometimes I heard if you take some classes over the Summer they will allow that.
