Transfer Chances Fall 2014 - NYU, UNC, UM, GWU,etc

<p>Hi, I am applying as a Junior transfer for Fall 2014.
The schools I am applying to are UNC, UM-Ann Arbor, Georgetown, NYU, GWU, BU, UVA and Columbia. Could you tell me what my chances are for each school? My top choices are Georgetown, NYU and GWU. I know that Columbia and Georgetown are reaches. However, I would really like to get into UNC as well.</p>

<p>Current School: A major public school in-state. (For UNC, not that it matters)
Current class standing: Sophomore
Total credit hours thus far: ~40
College GPA: 3.595 (Does the upward trend do anything for me?)

2nd semester: 3.677
3rd semester:3.917
Unweighted/weighted HS GPA: 3.2 or 3.3/4.1 or 4.2 (the #1 ranked HS in the state)
7 APs
SAT/ACT: R-700 M-720 W-730 Superscore: 2150
SAT II: Math II: 730 Literature: 650
Current major: Political Science
Extra Curricular in college:
- VP/Officer of a Major Social Fraternity
- Head of Media Outreach/Fundraising Chair for College Republicans
-Vice-Chair of County Precinct
-Worked overseas as a political research intern for a well-known International Newspaper company.
-Volunteered for Habitat for Humanity (50+hours)
EC in HS:
-Worked as an intern for a Software Developing Educational Company.
- President of Debate Team
-Student Government Officer (SGA)
-President of the National Arts Honors Society
- Two Varsity High School Sports (Awards and Captain for one of the teams)
- Volunteering at the Duke Eye Center

<p>Additional Info:
Parent is a NYU alum.
Parent teaches at UNC.</p>

<p>When I applied to schools in HS, I was:
Waitlisted at NYU and BU. I was on the Guanteed Transfer Program at BU but decided not to go. (Does this help me at all with my chances as a transfer? I know they have it on file.)</p>
