transfer chances for mostly top 25 schools

Hey guys, I'm applying as a sophomore transfer from Emerson College. Here are my stats:

College GPA: 4.0
Major: journalism and wanting a minor in business
great extra curriculars and teacher recs
35 credits earned

High school GPA: 3.8 W, 3.5 UW
SAT: 740 W, 660 M, 630 CR=2030/2400
ACT: 27 (probably should retake)
good extra curriculars
business experience at a financial firm

Looking at:
UPenn
Cornell
Northwestern
USC
UNC
Notre Dame

Do I have a shot at any of those schools??

bump anyone???

You have good chances at USC and Notre Dame, but the other ones… They might be a stretch.

Don’t listen to the person above me. I can see you at any of those, you have a good shot for all especially UNC. Cornell and Northwestern are very transfer friendly. Good luck!

Is it really possible to transfer to top 25 schools without having to submit SAT Subject Tests? Do they lower your chances if you do not submit them?

thanks everyone!! if any of you guys got into those schools, what were your stats?

for hopefuleagle, just check on collegeboard because they usually tell you whether or not universities require them. not submitting them won’t lower your chances, but they do help you if your scores are good. on the flip side if you do submit them and they’re a little low, that might hurt you a little.

anyone else?? bump???

Some schools require sats even if you have taken 30+ college credits. Others, like USC for example, do not. You need to check the transfer admissions page of each college to find out if they require them or not. Some you might need to call but it is a quick question to ask them :)

I was not referring to the SAT Reasoning or the ACT. I was referring to the SAT II subject tests.
