So im planning to apply to UCONN as a transfer for the Fall 2010 semester. I am applying now with 41 credits completed, 3.2 GPA college GPA, 1080/1600 and 1590/2400 on my SATS (not sure if that matters now) and a 2.9 in High school. What are my chances of getting in? I am applying as a business major, finance to be exact, and have most of my pre req classes taken care of.

Chances are low.

What about the chances for schools that have less prestigious business schools like Northeastern University, BU, and BC

I really couldn’t say. I would post on their forums.

BC and BU are decently competitive schools, though.

Actually I believe your chances are decent. UConn usually asks for about 2.8-3.0 GPA for transfers. After around 30 college credits most schools tend to not even care about SATs anymore. I have been interested in UConn and from my expirience they love transfer students (especially if your instate).

Im applying as a transfer with 27 credits, 3.0 college gpa. and 6 more credits from “Disney College Program”. That is also my work experience. Im a out of state from Puerto Rico, and im applying because i have family living near hartford so its pretty convenient. I hope I get In. good luck

did you end up getting into uconn?

You’ll get in. My friend got in with a 2.8 College GPA and low sat scores from high school…
