<p>From what I've witnessed.. H, Y, S, and schoos like U Chicago/MIT/Cal Tech are huge reaches for any cc student, regardless of strength. It's just based on the fact that they are getting more and more selective each year, with an increasing number of applicants. I know people who have gotten into Columbia from a cc, although it is selective, but they were ALL returning adult students or students with special backgrounds (one grew up in aparthied and moved here like 5 years ago). I'd say you have a great shot at all schools except for the ones I mentioned above. So good, that some might even be considered safetys (which is a bold claim).</p>
