Transfer chances: should I bother applying?

High School GPA: 3.68/4.12 with mostly honors/AP courses
Rank: Top 25%
SAT scores: 1880 (M: 530 CR: 570 W: 780 E: 12) I have ADHD, which is why my SAT is low

College GPA: ~3.9 with 17 credits
Honors College
Phi Theta Kappa

I’m a Caucasian female from Florida.

According to their net price calculator, I could attend for a very small price because of my family’s financial situation. But is that an accurate estimate? Is Emory generous with FA?

bump!

Any opinions?

Hi! Are you currently going to University of Florida? I applied to transfer from UF to Emory for Spring 2016 and just got my acceptance yesterday. Your GPA is definitely competitive, but I hope you have more extra curriculars than what you listed. Emory is definitely not a numbers game - they read every application and really care about what your place will be and what impact you can make at their University.

Below are my stats: Admitted Spring 2016 Transfer:

School: University of Florida - Honors College
Major: Dual major in Political Science and Philosophy; potential interest in hybrid majors as well (Pre-Law Focus)
GPA: 3.78 (3.54 1st semester, 4.0 second semester, 4.0 current semester - not factored in)
SAT: 2030
ACT: 31
